Assigning Policies to a Realm

You initially assign/add Agent Policies and Endpoint Update Policies when you set up a Realm. You can change this as needed.

For more information about setting up and editing Realms, see Setting up Agent Realms and Agent Realms View

An account policy must be assigned to each Realm. You can assign multiple recording policies to a Realm. By default, the default account policy is automatically created and assigned to each Realm. (See Agent Policies.)

Endpoint Update Policies provide away to manage updating your endpoints. In an Endpoint Update Policy, you define which endpoints will be updated by the Auto Updater. (See Endpoint Update Policies.)

  1. To assign existing policies to an Realm when setting up a Realm, from the New Agent Realm screen, select the Assign Policies tab.
