MIP Labels 2.0 (Beta Release)
This beta release is available for select customers.
DSPM now supports mapping Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels (also known as MIP labels) to entities, profiles, and Unified DLP Detectors. This allows you to apply MIP labels to your data using more precise mappings. You can continue to map MIP labels to broader data classes as well.
MIP label mappings are now found in Scan Config > Labels and Tags. This page has additional functionality, including the ability to:
- Apply mappings individually or all at once.
- Automatically apply mappings during Data Scans for the account.
- View file counts such as the number of eligible files for MIP labels, the number of unsupported files, and the number of files with applied MIP labels.
Redesigned Risk Pages
A new version of the Risks pages is available. The pages, which use the new DSPM user interface design, contain similar functionality to the existing Risk pages.
To view the new Risk pages, click your profile icon. In the New UI section, turn on the Risks toggle.
New SaaS Scan Option Names
For SaaS accounts, the Cloud Scan and Data Scan options have been renamed to more clearly reflect the purpose of each scan.
Changes to Cloud Scans:
- Trigger Full Scan is now called Trigger Cloud Scan.
Changes to Data Scans:
- Trigger Full Scan is now called Trigger Full Data Scan.
- Refresh Inventory is now called Trigger Refresh Data Scan.
