macOS Compatability Statement

Proofpoint maintains a dedicated team focused on ensuring our Endpoint DLP/ITM SaaS agent remains compatible with macOS as Apple releases major and minor updates. Proofpoint is an active particpant in testing and resolving any compatibility issues promptly so that customers can upgrade with confidence. Support for each macOS version is documented on the Supported Platforms page.

Our target is to release an updated agent within 7 business days of macOS general availability for both major and minor versions.*

(*) In the event a major compatibility issue is identified, additional time may be required to deliver a compatible agent. Proofpoint treats such issues as critical and prioritizes resolution with the highest urgency. Customers are notified through Proofpoint Community.

On rare occasions, to maintain smooth performance and compatibility, Proofpoint may temporarily adjust certain features to ensure continued compatibility with the operating system. If this occurs, we’ll provide details in the release notes and share updates through the Proofpoint Community portal. Our team will continue working with the highest priority to restore full functionality as quickly as possible, keeping you informed throughout the process.
