Generate keys to connect to DSPM
DSPM provides the mechanism to run some operations from command line interface (CLI). For this option to be able to connect to DSPM, API Keys are required.
Administrators can generate the key value pair from the API Keys section and provide them to your team as needed.
The API Key and the Secret are used by the DSPM platform to generate the JWT token which is then used to authenticate the operations being run by the platform.
Standalone Scanner and On-Premises Data scanner functionality needs the API Key and Secret values for connecting to DSPM. Once the connection is made, then the application generates the token for the operations which are API based and the results become available for review.
