This describes how to install the Mac Auto Updater on an endpoint manually. This process is useful for small installations and test installations.
Prerequisites
These files are required for the installation.

observeit-autoUpdater-OSX-<version>.pkg is the package file for installations (remote and local)

Installation Configuration file for the Auto Updater’s Realm. (See Installation Configuration File.) The installation configuration file is a .json file. You will need this file and you need to know its location to complete the installation.
Interactive Installation

Open the mounted ObserveIT OSX AutoUpdater and then open the remote folder.

Run the observeit-cloudagent-OSX-<version>.pkg package file.
The Installer opens.

Click Continue.

The Installer asks you for the Password. Enter your password and click Install Software.

The Installer asks you for the preconfig file. Enter the location of the installation configuration file. (See Installation Configuration File.)

The Installer runs.
