CAPTCHA Verification Added to User Center Login

As part of Proofpoint’s commitment to strengthening account security, CAPTCHA verification has been added the User Center login process. This provides an additional layer of protection against automated attacks and unauthorized access.

Who is affected?

All users logging in via the User Center will see the new CAPTCHA flow.

What to expect

Legitimate users will be prompted to complete a CAPTCHA once every three days. The experience is simple and appears only when accessing the Proofpoint User Center through our login URL.

The flow includes these three quick steps:

1. CAPTCHA Notice that informs you verification is required

   

2. CAPTCHA Puzzle to confirm you’re not a bot

   

3. Confirmation Screen you'll see before being redirected to the User Center login page
