Dashboard Overview: Data Classification
What types of sensitive data were discovered for each account provider?
To view the new Dashboard, click your profile icon. In the New UI section, turn on the Dashboards toggle.
Cloud data discovered by DSPM is classified with industry standard data classes. Examples of data classes include:
- PII Personal Identifiable Information
- PHI Personal Health Information
- HIPAA Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
- GEO Geographical Location Information
- GDPR General Data Protection Regulation
- Other Data that doesn’t belong to an industry standard data class.
View the sensitive data discovered and classified for your data stores. Classified data is shown for each account provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.). You can view a breakdown of this information by:
- Data Stores
- Percentage of data stores that have been classified (also shown as a progress bar).
- Number of data stores that have been classified.
- Object Count
- Percentage of objects that have been classified (also shown as a progress bar).
- Number of objects that have been classified.
You can also:
- Click an account provider (e.g., AWS) to view all data stores with sensitive data for the provider.
- Click + Provider to view a list of your onboarded accounts.
