Onboarding an Account
- Connects the DSPM Platform with the Cloud Provider or SaaS Application
- Creates the necessary set of stack and functions with requisite permissions to do further operations on the cloud provider entities
- Discovers the inventory from the account and lists the details and configurations. This step is called the Cloud Scan
- Configures the scan operation mechanisms and additional features that should be enabled on the platform
Prerequisites to Onboarding
DSPM deploys Data Scanners in your cloud account(s) to classify the type of data that you have and to identify the risk to your data. The Data Scanners will need to send scan status and results metadata back to DSPM platform.
For this to be successful, ensure outbound connectivity is allowed from your cloud account(s) to the following URLs:
